For years, bedroom design has been stuck in the “light and airy” trend — white on white on white (bonus points if you added an accent slat wall in 2015 and are still pretending it’s fresh). But let’s be real: the last thing you need when you’re trying to sleep is a blinding wall bouncing light back at you like a reflector board on a photo shoot. Personally, my modern bedroom isn’t a glowing sanctuary — it’s a cave. The darker the bedroom color palette and materials, the more light gets swallowed, the faster I can pass out. Science even agrees: bright rooms = less melatonin = more tossing and turning. So yes, I’m officially starting a petition for dark and moody bedrooms. Who’s signing, and who’s still clinging to their 2015 shiplap wall for dear life? • • #bedroomdesign #modernbedroom #darkandmoody #moodyinteriors #bedroommakeover

Some of the most “viral” interiors look incredible on camera… and fall apart the second you actually live in them. Luxury buyers don’t just want drama — they want function, longevity, and ease. If a home looks stunning but feels frustrating, it won’t hold
