Sylvester Stallone is looking to knock out a sale of his desert getaway. The actor has placed his La Quinta, CA, home on the market for $3.35 million.
However, the transaction might be somewhat of a gut punch to his wallet. Stallone, who is 73, purchased the home in 2010 for $4.5 million. So even at full ask, he stands to lose on the investment.
The nearly 4,900-square-foot home will definitely be a winner for the buyer lucky enough to snag it. Built in 2008, the villa opens with heavy wood double doors onto a vaulted ceiling entryway.
The layout includes four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, and a double-height living room with a stone fireplace. The formal dining room opens out to a terrace.
The floor plan also includes a wine room and a powder room.
The spacious kitchen has a large wood and stone island. Upstairs, a master suite includes a disappearing flatscreen TV, perfect for catching your favorite Stallone flick.
In addition, the spacious place has a fireplace as well as a private terrace. The master bathroom offers dual vanities and a tub.
