This class is designed to provide real estate brokers with the necessary tools to identify specific oil and gas issues which require additional attention. In particular, you will learn when minerals will transfer with the surface and when the surface may be subject to oil and gas development. Methods will be shown to use the title work to identify certain oil and gas issues you need to investigate further or seek professional assistance. You will learn to ascertain when minerals are being retained by the seller and how to protect those reservations. This class will arm you with enough information to prevent you from failing to consider those forgotten and valuable property rights lying underneath the surface.
