“House Party” is the official Realtor.com® podcast about the overlapping worlds of home and pop culture, hosted by Rachel Stults and Natalie Way. Click the player above to hear our take on this week’s hot topics.

We kick off this week’s episode of “House Party” with a lively discussion about two buzzy topics in celebrity real estate. The first: Writer, director, and millennial antihero Lena Dunham has built a beautifully designed luxury tiny home in her parents’ backyard. The über-successful Dunham could presumably live just about anywhere, but she opted to design and move into a 1.5-bedroom “forever home” that’s 10 feet from her parents’ house.

So we have to wonder if Dunham’s latest real estate move is indicative of a larger trend for millennials and Gen Z. Is designing and living in an accessory dwelling unit the next housing trend for young would-be homebuyers who don’t mind sharing a yard with their family?

Then, we chat about Trevor Noah‘s gorgeously designed New York City penthouse, which recently hit the market for $13 million. With 3,600 square feet of space, 15-foot ceilings, and a private terrace with a plunge pool, could this be the best deal in the Big Apple?

And we finish up the episode with a recap of “Selling the OC” Episode 7. The penultimate episode of the season is full of petty drama and pretty homes in Southern California, including a modern Mediterranean in Newport Beach and a renovated midcentury home in San Clemente.
