“Coloradans of all ages will be dazzled by millions of lights and entertainment when Luminova Holidays returns to transform Elitch Gardens into an even bigger, better, and brighter winter wonderland with more rides, more lights, and more holiday cheer! Stroll through the Park with over 200,000 square feet of larger-than-life light displays, a 65-ft. tree, twinkling snowmen who never melt, 300-ft. candy cane tunnel, photo ops galore, and more!

Now – January 1st: Trail of Lights

“Trail of Lights at Chatfield Farms takes you along a winding path glistening with lights that illuminate the Colorado countryside. Tucked into the foothills under the dark sky, the glow of lights can be seen for miles. Just under a mile of walking trail, the illumination of cottonwoods, boxelders and pine trees line the pathway through the Green Farm, Crossroads, Deer Creek Discovery Children’s Play Area and 1880s Hildebrand Ranch homestead. There is the option of an alternative path for those who want to take a shorter stroll. In line with our core value of sustainability, all lights used in the event are LED.

Fun features this year: Lit props in the amphitheater dance to music, Synchronized music in the children’s play area, Enjoy singing Christmas trees, Stroll through multiple light tunnels, Illuminated antique and model tractors on display, Hot beverages, nuts and kettle corn are available for purchase at the start of the trail, as well as fudge and caramels available halfway through the trail in our warming hut. December 30th-31st: New Year’s Eve Weekend Events

“Celebrate the new year with your family by checking out fireworks, blockbuster museum exhibitions such as Amoako Boafo: Soul of Black Folks, stunning lights displays like Zoo Lights and art shows all over town. Or party the night (and the year!) away at one of many New Year’s Eve parties taking place all over The Mile High City!

The Regional Transportation Network (RTD) will offer free bus and rail service, including Access-a-Ride, FlexRide and SkyRide services, starting New Year’s Eve at 7 p.m. and running through 7 a.m. on New Year’s Day. December 31st: New Year’s Eve Fireworks 

“The sky will once again sparkle over downtown at the close of 2023 with the New Year’s Eve Fireworks. The two 8-minute spectacular fireworks shows will occur at 9 p.m. and midnight. The identical fireworks shows can be seen near the Sheraton Hotel and near the middle of downtown near Curtis St. For the best NYE experience in downtown, book a restaurant reservation before the show and then stay the night at a hotel! The fireworks are presented by the Downtown Denver Partnership and co-sponsored by VISIT DENVER and the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District.”
