This class will educate real estate agents on the underwriting criteria that most insurance companies use to evaluate risks, making for a smoother transaction with their buyers and sellers. Discussed will be potential pitfalls to be aware of – Buyer timelines for applying and qualifying for homeowners insurance; and, Seller issues that could prohibit the home from qualifying for a standard policy. You’ll leave better prepared for both sides of the closing table.
